...and
his new 2008 F250 Super Duty Diesel |
 |
|
It
started life as an '08 F250 XLT Super Duty 4X4 extended cab with a
6.4l Powerstroke Diesel, Torqueshift 5 speed automatic, 3.73 limited
slip, 4X4 Off Road package, 9800 GVWR Trailer towing package with Tow
Command, 18" cast aluminum wheels and "shift-on-the-fly" four wheel
drive! Not for long - wheels and tires came first... I had a set of
35X12.50R-17 Toyo Open Country MT's mounted on 17" x 9" HELO HE842
wheels. We also installed a set of
Bushwacker Pocket style flares.
We installed an Undercover Hard
Tonneau cover, a 3" Steelworks
Polished Stainless Steel bull bar and two Hella 7" offroad lights. We
installed a Banks Ram Air intake
system, as well as their single
outlet Monster Exhaust. An SCT Livewire was next with a River City
Diesel 485 Super Street Tune -
that's 485 hp and 995 ft. lbs. of torque at the rear wheels! The image
above is a Photoshop rendering of what it should look like when
finished. We've got the PIAA lights and the Smittybilt Winch and the
bumper should be here in March. The hood - well, coming this SPRING!
